Good afternoon, my name is Dan. I am a LICSW in MA and here to help. I am so sorry to hear about your _____ I imagine it must be so hard to feel comfortable and I will do what I can to better understand and help you find out what is going on. It is never easy to make the decision to reach out for help, but you made that giant step, you should feel proud of that.
My approach
I focusing using a blend of Therapy and Coaching in my work. I have experience working with depression, anger, anxiety disorders, ADHD, IEP’s, Social Emotional Disabilities (and school behavior), self-esteem, autism, and adjustment disorders, couples, and an array of other disorders in need of care. I also use a mix of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Group Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, DBT, and other modalities that fit the need of the client.
My focus
I work with all clients from teen years to adults. I have no reservations in regard to conditions I am comfortable treating
My communication style
I allow the client to take the lead, and I am an empathic listener and when appropriate, some humor. Though, I am stoic, and serious.
