Hello! My name is Bianca Roberson, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 8 years of experience working within the mental health system. My experience spans across all age groups, including work as an In-Home Therapist, Outreach Therapist, and Clinical Supervisor for Emergency Services. My passion is to walk alongside individuals in their darkest hours seeking the guiding light to peace and tranquility.
My approach
My approach is centered around trauma informed and person-centered care. Treatment modalities I have used in therapy include solution focused behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness practices.

I have experience in working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal issues, and low self-esteem.
My communication style
I work to build a therapeutic relationship that fosters open, respectful, and trusting communication. Creating a calm environment while the individual is in the middle of a storm is of upmost importance to me. From my perspective, it is critical in times of need to be able to display active listening and empathy which I prioritize with all of my clients.
My journey to mental healthcare
My passion has always been centered in helping as many people as possible in any way that I can. Pursuing a career in the formal helping system has allowed me to continue this passion and has allowed me to gain fulfilment beyond measure through helping others. My life mission is to help clients turn their mess into their message by encouraging them to uncover limiting beliefs and unlock true joy. Alone you can only do so much, but together we can conquer the world!
My goals for you
When setting goals, it is not me who creates the framework but the client. From a person-centered approach, we create realistic goals for where the individual is presently, and the direction for which they would like to see themselves go. It is of great importance that my clients feel comfortable and confident being in the driver's seat, gaining control in navigating their lives, while I assist with the roadmap in the passenger's seat.
