Hi there, I'm Heather!

Hello my name is Heather Ramsey, LCSW. I work with a wide range of clients in various demographics. I meet the client where they are, and provide encouragement along the way! I look forward to working with you.

My approach

I utilize CBT and DBT to assist my clients in achieving their goals. Additionally, I work within a strengths based system and family systems as needed.

My focus

I enjoy working with a wide range of clients. I have found those ages 11+ do well with telehealth services utilizing the therapeutic approach I focus on.

My communication style

I am very laid back, meaning I will provide support and assistance in anyway that I can. I provide a cool and calm atmosphere for my clients.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist to help others. One of my friends had a difficult life, and inspired me to this field. I enjoy helping others recognize their potential!

My goals for you

When it comes to setting goals, clients assist in setting them. It is important for me to meet the client where they are, and assist them in getting to where they want to be.

My first session with you

During a first session, expect a get to know you format. We will discuss background, boundaries, confidentiality and explore goals.
