My name is Ashley Roberts and I am a licensed professional clinical counselor. I have certifications as a life coach and clinical hypnotherapy. My primary goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment so you feel safe to explore personal issues that may be preventing you from living your best life. My focus areas of practice include: Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, and Grief.
My approach
Each of us are unique, so what may work for others may not work for you. I am trained in a variety of counseling interventions to help clients depending on individual needs. I take time to understand your perspective and discuss your goals because it truly is a pleasure to witness the progress and success of each client.

My journey to mental healthcare
I fell in love with my first psychology class and consumed every class that I could to help me better understand human behavior. Many times I have had experiences where strangers tell me things they say they have never told anyone else and so I felt it was a natural gift so I became a therapist. I am driven to do this work because it genuinely feels good for me to know that I have helped another person. It is very rewarding to be able to look back at where we started and the progress that has been made.
My goals for you
I allow clients to determine what goals they would like to achieve and work with them to ensure the goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based.
My first session with you
Expect that I will ask many questions to get to know you and your situation to determine how I can be helpful. I also allow the opportunity to ask me any questions that you like.
