William Biddle, I am a Psychologist with over 30 years of experience doing psychotherapy and psychological evaluations. I have extensive experience in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and existential issues (finding meaning and purpose in life).
My approach
My theoretical approach is psychodynamic, which basically means becoming more aware of the undercurrents that influence our lives at a subconscious level.
My focus
I work with adults who seek to better understand themselves and lead more fulfilling lives.
My communication style
I approach every person as an individual. I do not use therapy techniques or scripted formulas, since they interfere with authenticity. The most important factor in psychotherapy is finding a therapist who is a good match. When you find the right one, you will know.
My journey to mental healthcare
Like most people, I initially wanted to understand myself. The better you understand yourself, the better you can help others on their own journey.
My goals for you
I ask them what they want to accomplish in therapy.
My first session with you
First session is getting acquainted and see if there is a good basis to work together.
