Hello my name is Julie Smith, I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with over a decade of experience in mental health. My approach
I am trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR, with experience in helping trauma victims also. I use a client-centered approach, meaning you guide our sessions and determine the focus and your personal goals. I enjoy helping people develop coping skills and learn new ways to navigate everyday challenges and overcome issues.
My focus
I have extensive training and experience in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma. If desired, I incorporate a Christian perspective and biblical principles into my counseling approach.

In my sessions, I provide a warm and comforting environment where empathy and encouragement are at the forefront. You will feel heard, understood, and comfortable expressing your feelings.
