Hi there, I'm Tyler!

Hello, my name is Tyler Ellison. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapist. I focus on stress recognition and and compassionate responsiveness for individuals experiencing anxiety and depressive symptoms.

My approach

I am a humanistic, person-centered, existential therapist. I use solution-focused strategies paired with Mindfulness-Based interventions.

My focus

I have worked with clients from a diverse set of backgrounds and neurodiverse dispositions. I have worked with children, teens, adults, and seniors.

My communication style

My communication is calm and reflective. I attempt to create a counseling environment is welcoming and open by offering the opportunity for introspection and healthy curiosity.

My journey to mental healthcare

Supporting individuals to be present with themselves in their own lives is a great personal reward. Giving to others has been the greatest gift I have given to myself.
