My name is Danelle King and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I emphasize the importance of honesty and offer non-judgmental support. My approach
I am completing certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I am skilled in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI). My most successful clients are those who are open to exploring a variety of treatment models until we find the one that works best.
My focus
I have both professional and personal history with individuals and families who are involved with foster care and adoption. I work with blended families, single parent households, adoptive parents, grandparents who parent, and a variety of family structures. I am prepared to address problematic behaviors, traumatic events, and specific mental health diagnoses.

My ideal client would be someone who would benefit from my inner gifts of nurturing and supportive sensitivity. I provide honest and genuine feedback with a soft and supportive tone. I create a quiet space so that my attention is focused solely on you. I approach my work with a non-biased and non-judgmental attitude. My journey to becoming a therapist has been deeply influenced by my lifelong passion for engaging with people from all walks of life. I've always found joy in meaningful conversations and in helping others navigate their challenges. My faith and personal experiences have provided a strong foundation, guiding me with empathy and understanding in my practice. The first session will be an opportunity to share your current concerns and ask questions. I employ a variety of modalities in my client centered approach, including: EMDR, CBT, and DBT. You can expect an accountability partner who will support and collaborate with you to determine the barriers you want to overcome. Together we will implement personalized strategizes to crush your goals one by one. At each session we will review and celebrate your progress.
