Hi there, I'm Jessica!

I bring extensive experience from various settings, including treatment centers, community programs, group therapy, and correctional facilities, where I've had the privilege of working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies, tailored to support meaningful behavioral changes. I deeply understand the mental health challenges that can emerge from incarceration and the unique stressors that accompany the journey of rebuilding life afterward. I’m also dedicated to supporting the family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction or incarceration, helping them navigate their own emotional journeys with compassion and care. Additionally, I work closely with parents and families of children with complex behavioral issues, providing guidance and support to help them create a nurturing environment for their child’s growth and well-being. In addition to this, I have experience helping clients through significant life transitions, such as starting a family, navigating college, or going through a divorce. I understand how overwhelming these changes can be and am here to provide empathetic support and practical tools to help my clients find stability and confidence during these times. I’m committed to walking alongside my clients and their families as they navigate these difficult transitions, offering understanding and support every step of the way.

My approach

I’m here to meet you exactly where you are, creating a space where you can freely share your true feelings and beliefs. You can expect to be supported and have your feelings acknowledged with compassion. While you’ll be encouraged to express yourself openly and honestly, I’ll also gently challenge you to foster your personal growth and development. Together, we’ll create a supportive environment where you can explore and grow at your own pace. My primary interventions include the use of evidence-based behavioral interventions such as CBT and DBT.

My focus

I am best positioned to serve adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating complex life challenges and transitions. This includes those dealing with the mental health effects of incarceration, as well as individuals facing significant life changes such as starting a family, entering college, or going through a divorce. I have extensive experience working with ADHD and Autism. I also specialize in supporting parents and families of children with complex behavioral issues, offering guidance to create a nurturing environment for their child’s growth. Additionally, I provide compassionate care to the family members and loved ones of those struggling with addiction or incarceration, helping them manage their own emotional journeys. My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies, and I am committed to walking alongside my clients and their families, offering understanding and support every step of the way.

My communication style

In our sessions together, you’ll find a warm and supportive space where you’re encouraged to grow and challenge yourself in a compassionate way. I understand that deciding to come to therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if previous approaches haven’t worked as you hoped. If you’re ready to explore new paths and embrace a bit of challenge, I’d love to hear from you. I’m currently welcoming new clients and am here to help you find practical solutions for immediate relief. My approach is both direct and caring, with a touch of humor to keep our conversations relaxed and engaging. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable and supported, without taking things too seriously.

My goals for you

My approach is both supportive and goal-oriented. In our early sessions, we’ll work together to identify practical strategies to help you manage and reduce your current symptoms. Once you’re feeling more in control, we’ll delve deeper to understand the underlying causes of your concerns and tailor our work to address them. My aim is to equip you with the tools and skills you need to navigate your challenges confidently and independently.

My first session with you

In our first session, we’ll take the time to explore the challenges you're facing and envision the outcomes you hope to achieve. Together, we’ll work closely to develop a personalized treatment plan that’s not just about making changes, but about empowering you with the skills to navigate your journey. As we move through therapy, you’ll gain not only the tools to address your current issues but also a deeper understanding of your past, helping you to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.
