Hi there, I'm Ariel!

My name is Ariel Fox, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about creating client-specific treatment plans. I practice with a focus on the client's individuality and strengths. I aim to assist you in achieving your goals by being healing and solution-focused. I specialize in individual, family, and marital counseling.

My approach

I approach therapy with a strengths-based, trauma-informed, client-centered lens. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, however, the client's needs will determine which modality is best for them.

My focus

I have experience working with age ranges 5-75. I specialize in supporting those with struggles with interpersonal relationships and emotional regulation. I have cultivated success with individuals, couples, and families. I am comfortable with clients who have personality disorders as well as trauma.

My communication style

I believe in giving my clients control over the amount they disclose and respecting their boundaries. I hope to cultivate an environment where speaking with me is easy and freeing. It is my goal to be a safe space void of judgment, but full of support, reflection, change, and solutions.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I understand the importance of mental health and how it can impact an individual's life and decision-making. I believe that having good mental health support not only positively impacts a person, but their families and communities as well.

My goals for you

I believe in setting realistic, and attainable goals. I approach goal setting by mapping out all of the small changes and achievements that have to happen to achieve the greater goals. I encourage my clients to focus on the small changes along the way rather than the bigger goal.

My first session with you

To begin our first session The client will learn about their rights, as well as my limitations. The client is free to disclose as much or little, background information as they please. I will also ask questions about their goals for therapy and life. Together we will collaborate to develop a plan of treatment that is tailored to the client.
