My approach
I use Cognitive and Dialectical behavior therapies, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapies, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy

I firmly believe that everyone deserves to be seen and heard, regardless of their circumstances. I am committed to providing a space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. I draw from strengths-based and relational approaches and my style is rooted in warmth and humor. I will provide you with customized feedback and a range of strategies based on evidence-based research and years of clinical expertise to address your individual needs.
My journey to mental healthcare
I grew up in Poland, came to the United States with my family, graduated from Lewis University, and went on to complete my Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Chicago, School of Social Work Administration. From there, I moved to the suburbs where I reside with my two sons, working in my garden and enjoying reading, and taking long walks.

My first session with you
The decision to seek therapy can be difficult, and I recognize how hard it is to reach out for help. My goal is to make therapy feel less overwhelming by developing a collaborative partnership where together we will identify your challenges and develop healthy coping skills. My first sessions are welcoming so we can meet each other and decide if we can work together.
