Hi there, I'm Marymay!
My name is Marymay Hardy and I am a licensed mental health counselor who provides individual therapy for those who struggle with anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and other life challenges. I understand that no single approach is right for every individual, and do my best to tailor sessions to my client's needs.
My approach
During sessions, I use an insight-oriented approach to help my clients better understand themselves. I am trained in CBT, motivational interviewing, and EMDR.
My focus
I typically work with adults and teenagers (13+). I find that working with motivated clients has the most success in therapy and gets the outcomes that they desire.
My communication style
I believe in open communication while practicing empathetic listening. My sessions are often client-led and my role is to help individuals gain different perspectives with the life challenges that they struggle with.
