Welcome to my Path profile. My name is Ken Shigematsu and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Hawaii. I use CBT, Supportive and Goal oriented modalities to assist clients. I treat clients with depression, adjustment, grief and LGBTQI issues.

My focus
I treat adult clients with depression, domestic violence anxiety, grief, adjusting to difficult situations, codependency, life transitions, sexual orientation and trans issues, .

I listen intently to your story and respond honestly with compassion, I want to hear your honest feedback to our sessions.

Goal setting is collaborative and needs to be attainable.
My first session with you
The first session will be more about hearing your issue and asking a lot of questions about your mental health history. Toward the end of the session we will jointly determine the best treatment plan.
