Aloha, my name is Naomi Isnec. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have been working within the Adult Mental Health Field for the last 10 years. My goal is to support you and those that you care about to gain the skills to lead and live a healthier & mindful life. Healing starts with you and I am here for your JOURNEY. My therapeutic approach primarily focuses on your needs, wants, and desires while utilizing framework approaches such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing. I am here to help you discover YOUR inner strengths and potential to lead you into a sustainable foundation.
My focus
My focus is to help adults ages 18-60 years old who have challenges with depression, anxiety, and difficulties navigating social relationships. Overcoming life stressors such as losing a job, death & grief, and not being understood can often put people in a negative pattern. I want to challenge you and your old patterns in making life changes for yourself and those you love.
My communication style
My communication style is "You are the expert on your life". I approach each individual with a genuine, honest, and non-judgmental approach. I do enjoy humor so the occasional jokes and laughter may occur :)
My journey to mental healthcare
Growing up in Moloka'i, Hawaii there were limited mental health services on island. I saw the impact it had on my community and how many individuals lacked knowledge of support & resources. This made me want to gain a better understanding of The Mental Health Profession and how I can apply it to my own community.

Getting to know you and identifying your current needs, wants, and challenges. Focusing on where you want to be within these areas of your life will help us find the building blocks to transition into healthier patterns and relationships.
My first session with you
Our first session will be an opportunity to get to know one another. It can be intimidating to speak to someone you've never met, especially the challenges you have and are experiencing. I want you to be comfortable before moving forward, so upon our first session we will see if this therapeutic relationship is an appropriate fit for you.
