My name is Gigi Jones and I am a licensed mental health counselor. I work with adults who may be dealing with stress, anxiety, emotional pain, relationship issues, substance use, or life challenges. Also, offer Christian Counseling.
My approach
I engage in a combination of therapeutic approaches, such as person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused brief counseling.
My focus
Counseling offers a safe space to be yourself, talk about your concerns, gain new insights, practice coping skills, problem-solve, and work toward accomplishing your goals.
My communication style
My counseling style is warm and engaging. Clients feel heard and supported.
My journey to mental healthcare
It is a privilege to work as a mental health counselor. I am grateful for the opportunity to help others learn ways to improve their overall quality of life and have peace.
My goals for you
Clients are tasked to complete a Goals worksheet. Clients will learn how to create SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely). Counselor will assist with formulating small action steps toward larger goal. Counselor will check in on progress.
My first session with you
In the first session, I will provide an overview of the counseling process, expectations, and concerns/reasons for seeking counseling. Clients are encouraged to ask any questions they may have.
