My approach
I utilize CBT techniques and use a client-centered approach.
My focus
I have worked with a wide age range of clients in the community, virtual, and private practice settings. I have experience with clients who have challenges with anxiety, depression, stress, ADD, ADHD, anger management, addiction, bipolar, couples therapy, phobias, self-harm, grief, trauma, etc.
My communication style
I like to create an open environment with my clients. This includes being compassionate but forward when needed. This provides an opportunity to share techniques and create goals together that focus on improved behavior.
My journey to mental healthcare
Psychology was a first love for me but not my first career choice. Life has bought me back full circle and I don't regret the journey. I enjoy celebrating with clients as they make progress and meet their goals. Reminding myself and others that life can always get better.
