With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in individual therapy for adults. My career with mental health services started after receiving a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta, GA. Prior to private practice, I worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health centers, crisis intervention, hospital emergency rooms, nursing homes, jails/prisons, outpatient programs, and large non-profits. My experience also includes clinical and administrative supervision of mental health professionals. I have helped my clients overcome issues and problems related to eating disorders, trauma, drug addiction, depression, anxiety/panic, divorce, work-related difficulties, family issues, and relationship conflict.

My approach

I utilize a variety of techniques and skills drawn from recognized therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
