Hi! My name is Mindy Hall Czech. I was born and raised in Orlando, FL, and have lived in the state of Georgia for the past almost 30 years. I love what I do! I am honored to be a part of your life journey, navigating through the twists and turns life can bring. I meet you where you are in life, and we work together to maneuver through whatever you would like to bring to our sessions.
My approach
I provide a judgment-free space where you have the freedom to open up about your struggles, pain, and triumphs, as we work together to sort through what life has thrown your way. I do not choose one way of doing therapy, because our needs are not one size fits all. I meet you where you are, and I utilize integrative techniques specific to your therapeutic needs.
My focus
I am passionate about people! Anytime others open up to me during our sessions, I am truly honored. I understand how difficult that can be, and I treasure those moments. I always tell clients, I jump in your car, and you are the driver. We navigate through the terrain ahead together.
My communication style
Sessions are about my clients, and listening is a big part of what I do. When I interject, I am kind, compassionate, and direct.
My journey to mental healthcare
Prior to starting my Master's in Counselor Education in 2005, I have always been passionate about people. We all need a confidential space to feel free to express our feelings, and thoughts, and work through anything we bring to the table. Through my life experiences, training, and due to my compassion for people, my heart has always been in this field.
My goals for you
We work together to set long-term goals, and short-term goals (if that is the route you would like to go). You will leave each session feeling like you have a plan for the week (or weeks) in between sessions. I believe in filling our resource files, so I like to email clients, in between sessions, articles, worksheets, and helpful strategies based on client needs.
My first session with you
During our first session, we will take some time to go over paperwork, discuss informed consent, and we discuss your needs/expectations during sessions. I always make sure there is plenty of time in our first session to start the process of diving into what you are seeking therapy for.
