The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Renee Atwood has worked with clients who have experienced depression, both childhood and adult trauma, codependency issues, anxiety, and PTSD. Renee has also worked with individuals suffering from grief, divorce, and issues about aging. Reaching out for counseling can be frightening, but she wants every client to feel heard, safe, and secure.
My approach
As your therapist, Renee will graciously commit to a safe, confidential therapeutic relationship while encouraging healing from trauma, emotional disturbances, and intergenerational issues. Renee is a DBT-informed therapist who tends to incorporate other theoretical concepts such as ACT, CBT, Person-Centered and Inner Child work as well.
