I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, practicing for over 10 years. My pronouns are she/her.
My approach
I offer a blend of cognitive therapies along with insight-oriented therapies to offer you a structured space with an engaged and goal-oriented approach as well as providing sessions focused on developing insight and understanding about how past experiences can affect current behavior, and how to move forward.
My focus
I have worked with persons diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness such as Bipolar Disorder, and Major Depression. I worked with trauma history, relationship issues, identity exploration, boosting self-esteem, managing stress and anxiety, or just needing someone to talk to. I have worked with military Veterans. I am LGBTQA+-affirming.
My communication style
I am ex-religious friendly, and am spiritual, and known to lean 'woowoo'. My approach to therapy is always respectful, optimistic, warm, and inclusive, using evidence-based tools that are woven into a safe therapeutic relationship.
