In my therapeutic practice, I integrate cognitive behavioral strategies, emotionally focused therapy, and brief solution-focused therapy to provide comprehensive support. Using cognitive behavioral strategies, I help clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. Emotional focus therapy allows me to address and process deep emotional issues, fostering healthier relationships and emotional well-being. Brief solution-focused therapy emphasizes finding practical, immediate solutions to current challenges, helping clients achieve quick, actionable results and build on their strengths. This multifaceted approach ensures a balanced and effective path to healing and personal growth.

My journey to mental healthcare
I was drawn to a career as a therapist because I've personally experienced the transformative power of having someone in your corner who truly supports you. I know firsthand the beauty, healing, and growth that can happen when you have that kind of guidance, and I wanted to be that person for others. The profound impact that therapy had on my own life inspired me to help others navigate their journeys with the same care and support that helped me thrive. As a therapist, I've had the privilege of witnessing clients accomplish goals they once thought were out of reach. I've seen them step into their true, authentic selves, heal from past wounds, and grow in ways they never imagined possible. Being a part of their journey, and watching them transform and thrive, fuels my passion for this work and reaffirms my commitment to helping others achieve their fullest potential.
My goals for you
Goal setting with clients is very different and depends on where the client is and where they are heading. I typically start with gathering information about your specific issue and together we determine what's important to you and what would be to your benefit. You are always in the driver's seat and I am there to support you. Together we would then tackle each goal and navigate the barriers and challenges that come up together.
My first session with you
During our first sessions together, we'll start with a brief introduction. Here you'll find empathy and a listening ear as you share your reasons for therapy, some presenting issues, and your goals. I will be asking a few questions that will help me to understand you better and create a plan of action for us to work on.
