My name is Kiara Nieves, MH21027. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with a Specialization in Clinical Counseling. I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I have worked in psychiatric facilities, private practice, and clinical research.
My approach
I provide a caring, empathic space for my clients to discuss their concerns. My style depends on where my clients are at. I tailor my approach to meet your needs. I can be humorous, friendly, and inquisitive. I like to use art and other assignments as a way to help you tell your story. If these things are not for you, that's okay too; it's all about what you feel you need most. Si buscas a alguin que hable espanol y entienda su cultura haga su primera visita hoy.
My focus

Clients can expect to feel heard, supported, and overall lighter. I like to create an open environment where my clients don't feel judged and comfortable sharing openly. My clients can expect to obtain a better understanding of themselves and solutions for moving forward through life's path.
My journey to mental healthcare
Since I can remember, I’ve been motivated by helping others. It’s inspiring for me to be able to reach people and make a difference in their lives.
My goals for you
My clients and I work together to set goals that motivate and challenge them.
