Hello, I'm Dr. Connally Barry, PY11791 and my main goal is to help my patients become the best version of themselves! I specialize in counseling patients with anxiety, depression, family discord, and postpartum distress. I can't wait to work with you!
My approach
I always use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Psychoeducation.
My focus
My patients range from teenagers to adults! It is always a joy to work with individuals, couples, families, and especially with members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Let's keep it casual! I enjoy a healthy back-and-forth with patients and appreciate their knowledge of themselves.
My journey to mental healthcare
My grandfather worked and counseled people for forty years. It was wonderful to see the impact of his work on the people around him. I wanted to do something equally as helpful for my community.

My first session with you
The first session is all about starting the therapeutic relationship. I ask some questions about your background, and we discuss your goals in detail and create a plan for how we can make them work for you.
