My approach
I customize treatment methods to fit your needs. Methods I have used in the past are mindfulness, cognitive behavioral, dialectal behavioral, trauma-focused and many others.
My focus
I feel I best servea dults navigating through life difficulties, teens with home and school related issues and couples working through conflict.
My communication style
The environment I work hard to create for my clients is one of safety. I convey to each client that I want to see the good, the bad, and the ugly so that we can work toward the best life possible.
My journey to mental healthcare
My career as a mental health therapist started with curiosity about family dysfunction. From that point on, I was fascinated with the world of relationships. I continue to learn more about relationships and am honored to take part in the healing journeys of all that I work with regularly.
My goals for you
My goal-setting approach is one that is lead by each client. Once the client states what they want, we put in the perspective of how we will achieve that in steps.
My first session with you
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and then dive into what brought you to therapy. I want to hear it in your words. I will go over your assessments and ask about what you want your life to look like when we are done. I want to know how you grew up and what needs you have now as a result. We can go from there delving into what the next steps look like for us.
