Vanessa San Millan

Hi, my name is Vanessa San Millan and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 13 years of experience working with individuals and families to address a range of social and emotional issues. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, post-partum anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about helping others and believe that every person has the potential to lead a healthy and fulfilling life.

My approach is client-centered. I believe it is important to meet each individual with empathy, non-biased and undoubting positive consideration.

My focus

I work with a wide range of individuals and families. I have experience with Self-esteem building, anxiety, depression, grief process, postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, and relationships.

I believe it is important to emphasize a welcoming, empathic, non-biased approach to meeting each individual where they are in their journey by active listening and positive direction.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had an innate passion for helping others. Growing up I was drawn to helping others in need. Mental Health was an area of interest for me in college and I dived into the world of Social Work. Throughout my career in Medical Social Work, I explored all different areas of the health population and was able to adapt to each individual's crisis and their needs. Knowing I can help just one person in any way I can, is winning in life. It only takes ONE!
