Hello, I am Vyonka, a licensed clinical social worker with a trauma-informed approach specializing in depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I aim to assist you in providing a safe space to process anything that may be troubling you in order to acquire the tools needed for a better quality of life.
My approach
I am a trauma-informed therapist and like to meet my clients where they are at by utilizing the strengths perspective. I use a psychodynamic approach in therapy while using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and mindfulness.
My focus
My client focus is adult clients. I typically work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and working on self-improvement.
My communication style
I am a very open-minded and nonjudgemental therapist who wants to provide the safe space needed for my client to feel comfortable working on things that well, may be uncomfortable.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always had a passion for helping people and I, myself, have also experienced moments in my life where I have needed a therapist to help identify and process things. Being a mental health professional is my calling and I truly enjoy what I do and dedicating my time and expertise to my clients. My career is truly rewarding and I have all of my past and future clients to thank for that.

I feel that therapy is a team effort and that the client is who drives the sessions and together we will work on what is needed to improve overall mood and behaviors.
