I am Zachary Moore, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I was trained by the US Army Medical Command Center and School with specifics on CBT/REBT and solution-focused therapy. I absolutely appreciate your understanding of the therapeutic modalities that you prefer and hopefully find conducive to your personal therapy.
My approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am trained to work my way out of a job. Through individual therapy and psychoeducational, I ensure all individuals seeking treatment become well-equipped with healthy coping mechanisms and therapeutic tools and are able to address or navigate any concerns or barriers to happiness, interpersonal relationships, and improved quality of life.
My focus
I strive to engage children, adolescents, adults, Veterans, seniors, and families in a process of healing and growth that celebrates their individuality, identifies all barriers to quality of life, mitigates those barriers, and challenges each participant to live to their utmost potential. We focus on the complex realities of biopsychosocial issues and provide innovative services which respond to the diverse needs of our patients and the community.
My communication style
Together we foster a safe and down-to-earth environment that is conducive to openness and fosters trust to work through any barriers to happiness.
My journey to mental healthcare
My military service and being adopted led to my interest in therapy. Wholistic and community-based care sparked my interest as an LCSW.
My goals for you
Goals are amazing starting points, though they remain fluid. With progress, therapy may lead to new goals that may have been unexplored or unidentified.
My first session with you
The first sessions are for exploration and identification in most cases. Sometimes, especially with solution-focused therapy, tools may even be developed in the first session.
