I have been practicing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in South Florida since 2010. Clients who have had negative experiences with therapy in the past have described me as “the therapist for people who think they hate therapy.”
My approach
My therapeutic approach focuses on the mind-body connection. I teach clients to evaluate how mood can be affected by food, sleep habits, and physical movement, as well as genetics, thought processes, and trauma. I utilize Trauma-Focused treatment approaches.
My focus
I have a passion for helping clients explore remedies offered through alternative remedies (i.e. acupuncture, energy work, breath work) as well as remedies offered through Western medicine. I work with adolescents, adults, and families.
My communication style
I have a laid-back communication style and I work collaboratively with my clients to ensure they are getting what they need out of therapy.
