Hi, my name is Cate Pearson. I am an LCSW with over 22 years of experience. I love helping people find new ways to believe in themselves, thrive under difficult circumstances, and channel their strengths to live their best lives.
My approach
I like using a broad variety of therapy approaches, including mindfulness-based strategies, cognitive therapy, acceptance, and commitment therapy, strengths-based, and Gottman method approaches.
My focus
My areas of specialty include relationship issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and life transitions. I enjoy helping adults, couples, and adolescents.

I foster a strengths-based environment and love helping people celebrate their successes. My clients report that they feel at ease with me and comfortable discussing challenging topics.
My journey to mental healthcare
I love the work that I do. It is meaningful to see how resilient people are and the positive changes they make in their lives when they make themselves a top priority. I have been drawn to doing this work for most of my adult life and love being able to make a positive difference and celebrating the progress my clients make.
