Hello, my name is Kash Kundera Byrd, I am licensed in Florida and Texas as a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in grief, anger management, trauma, depression, and anxiety, among other areas. I use modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and client-focused therapies, but it is unique to the client which approach is utilized.
My approach
I utilize approaches that are client-focused and supportive. Typically, these modalities include but are not limited to, CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused approaches.
My focus
I work primarily with adults. I treat a full list of issues; however, her specialties include grief counseling, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and anger management.
My communication style
I strive to foster an environment of compassion and support, while also providing a private and confidential space. I am very transparent and honest.
My journey to mental healthcare
What attracted me to this career field is the life-changing results I have observed and experienced personally thanks to the help of someone who is passionate about helping others who struggle with their mental health.

I meet the client where they are. I provide a safe space, to cultivate honesty and transparency.
