Hello! My name is Satara Carr (MH12963). My philosophy is to take the guesswork out of therapy. Therapy doesn't have to be difficult, and difficult does not mean impossible. This philosophy has led me to help clients aspire to create their own destinies and to be the change that they desire. My mission is to motivate, encourage and guide you to your healthier self. My work focuses on several issues, including anger management, depression, anxiety, and postpartum adjustment, to name a few.

My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist because I found that I care deeply for fellow human beings and want to improve their mental health.
My goals for you
I facilitate the goal setting by encouraging the client to determine what problems or concerns they want to work on in counseling. Together we can identify specific areas they want to work on in the counseling process.
My first session with you
Most importantly, clients will begin building a connection with me from the start. We will begin talking about current symptoms or struggles, as well as their relationships, interests, strengths, and goals.
