I have over 10 years of experience in Mental Health and Addictions Counseling and have a good understanding of the evidence-based practices that will help you address your trauma, anxiety, depression, or problems with alcohol and drugs.

My therapy style is supportive and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.

I believe that you hold the solution within you and are the expert of your own story. I acknowledge your resilience and courage to reach for help and I am here to support you in achieving a healthier and more fulfilling life.

My journey to mental healthcare
I've experienced trauma and substance use issues in the past and found talk therapy to be extremely helpful. During my journey of personal growth, I realized that my many life experiences including, marriage, divorce, having children, and losing loved ones have helped me to connect empathetically to others. I became interested in learning how to help others with the challenges they face and decided to change careers. Now, I love what I do and have been a witness to the most amazing people as they work through their problems with the skills they learn in therapy.

Goal setting is a collaborative experience where we focus on what's most important to you. When the treatment plans are developed they will meet your unique and specific needs.

During our first session, I'm prepared to actively listen to the situation and provide some immediate relief from the disturbance you are experiencing.
