My name is Elizabeth Mittal and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have a special focus on anxiety, depression and life transitions. Life can be hard at times but with the help of an attentive and intentional therapist, it can feel a little lighter.
My approach
I have an individualized approach to therapy as each of my clients are unique and their needs will be different. I use an integrative theoretical approaches such as DBT, solution focused, CBT, client centered, psychodynamic and many others.
My focus
I work with clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression whether it be from clinical diagnosis or situational life experiences. I have a special interest in trauma, life transitions such as college, divorce, retirement, sudden illnesses. I have a new found interest in OCD.
My communication style
I work hard to create a calm and inviting environment via Telehealth where people can feel comfortable and unguarded. I have a very calm and intentional demeanor where I am in engaged and focused on my client’s needs.
My goals for you
I approach goal setting with my clients by where they are and where they would like to see themselves in the next few months. I allow my clients to be the driver of their goals and I assist and provide guidance when needed.
My first session with you
The first session is going to be introductions as well as housekeeping things to go over regarding scheduling, communication and sessions.
