My name is Jenn & I completed my Masters Degree in Social Work at Fordham University; and am currently a Licensed Clinical Social worker. I have worked with adults, adolescents, children, and their families for the past 20 plus years. I recognize there is not a "one size fits all" model approach to treatment. I look forward to collaborating with you and find ways to heal and grow as individuals. We will build on your strengths to help you move in the direction you want to be.
My approach
I create a warm and comfortable environment for my clients to feel safe in. I believe one of the things that takes the most courage is learning to begin to understand your story. I do encourage mindfulness practices in our work and focus heavily on self regulation strategies & self compassion and care, as well as CBT interventions. Additionally, I incorporate a psychodynamic approach, which considers personality and family history to address the underlying causes of problems or challenges. Lastly, I offer a mind-body approaches to support individuals in a whole-person, strength-based way, combining insight with action.

Individuals who may need additional support with managing anxiety, depression or navigating life changes and challenges.
My communication style
I create a warm and comfortable environment for my clients to feel safe in. I will encourage you to make sure your comfortable with your coffee or tea prior too engaging in the session time. This is your self care time, thus your comfort while we engage in session is something I will prompt.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have wanted to be a therapist since I had a helpful therapist when I was a teenager. I draw from a diverse array of educational, career and my own life experiences in my daily work.
