Hello! I am Kassidy Drennen, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Connecticut. I work with individuals, families and couples using relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy, we will explore how you can build greater confidence and self-esteem. You will develop new skill sets to process anxiety, depression, trauma and family conflict.
My approach
Using relational and psychodynamic therapy through a trauma focused lens. I am trained in approaches including TF-CBT, IFS and solution focused models. Working with each individual system to create a treatment plan and tailor approaches based on clinical needs.
My focus
I work with individuals including children, teens, couples and families to explore and treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, college preparedness, OCD, family conflict, court/legal process, life transitions and trauma.
My communication style
I am a vibrant and upbeat therapist! With my friendly disposition and straight forward approach clients join and transition into therapy easily!
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to wellness started in a therapy office! I practice what I preach, the journey into wellness and mental health was personal for me. Looking at the stigmas and biases in the field drove me to provide top tier service for my clients as I work to make in impact in the mental health system!
