Hi there, I'm Alexia!
I’m a licensed professional counselor with 18 years of experience in the mental health field, and committed to helping individuals learn how to build healthier relationships with themselves, their loved ones, and communities at large. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors and beliefs around identity (how you view yourself) that are rooted in trauma. When we view ourselves right-sized, we're able to live out our passion and purpose and experience meaningful relationships.
My approach
CBT, Family Systems, Experiential Therapies, Dance Movement Therapy, Eclectic, Trauma-Focused
My focus
I'm passionate about creating resources for creative temperaments who struggle with mental illness, trauma-informed care, eradicating mental health stigma, and dance/movement therapy! I welcome participating in workshops, speaking engagements, and podcasts to educate the public on these issues.
My communication style
Client-centered, unconditional positive regard, safety implementing boundaries while holding a warm, supportive environment.
