Hi there, I'm Sarah!

Hi, I'm Sarah Thomas, LMFT. I serve as a soul-centered therapist and I hold space for you in my sessions for you to clear the emotional residue that is keeping you stuck in patterns of insecurity and pain. I will encourage you to tap into your truth and develop self-love where you once held shame so you may take steps into spaces of truth and authenticity in life, love, and relationships.

My approach

My great passion is to help my clients heal themselves. I act as a guide for my clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole, and safe. My holistic approach aims to heal my client's mind, body and spirit while empowering them to connect with themselves and enhance self-love. I am open-minded and utilize different therapeutic approaches to offer the best results.

My focus

I typically work with individuals who struggle in these areas: Personal Growth, Self-Esteem, Spirituality, Women's Issues, Stress, Mood Disorder, Social Issues, Relationship Issues, Highly Sensitive Person, and Anxiety.

My communication style

My style of therapy is eclectic. I base my approach on each unique individual and try to meet the client where they are, at the present moment, and work from there.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist took all kinds of twists and turns. It wasn't until I was in a Master's program for Art History in Nottingham, England that I understood I was meant to do something more. While in my graduate program for Psychology, I also became a Reiki Master. I believe everybody is unique and I try to accommodate individual needs to the best of my ability while believing that the strength of change is within all that crosses my path as a therapist.

My goals for you

Collaboration is key to setting reachable and attainable goals.

My first session with you

Our first session is really about making a connection and building rapport. We will go over presenting concerns, as well as your history and background, and assess if we are a good fit.
