As a bilingual psychotherapist, I provide therapy services to youth and adults in both English and Spanish. My professional experience involves helping clients impacted by complex trauma, domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, gang-related trauma, immigration experiences, and acute mental disorders.
My approach
I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, drawing upon various modalities such as Attachment-based, Object Relations, Psychodynamic, Trauma-Focused, Compassion-Focused, Culturally Sensitive, Family Systems, Grief Therapy, Humanistic, Multicultural, and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) techniques. My goal is to assist clients in gaining insight into their defenses and to help them make positive changes to improve their quality of life.

I work with individuals and families, including minors aged 13-17. My specialties include treating adolescents/teens, aging-related issues, anger management, anxiety, behavioral issues, bipolar disorder, career counseling, child abuse or neglect, children's issues, codependency, coping skills, depression, divorce, domestic violence, drug abuse, dual diagnosis, emotional disturbance, family conflict, grief, impulsivity, infidelity, job stress, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, marital/pre-marital concerns, men's issues, mood disorders, parenting, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, sexual abuse, stress, trauma and PTSD, women's issues, and teen violence.

I engage in open, empathetic dialogue to create a safe space for sharing. Drawing upon my multicultural background, I adapt my communication to each client's unique needs. Through active listening and clear, compassionate exchanges, we'll work together to foster understanding and growth.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Science (MS) degree from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. I completed the program between August 2013 and August 2015, which equipped me with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career in mental healthcare.
