I want to help you feel safe, calm, and supported in both your mind and body. If you feel on edge, unable to relax, anxious, or overwhelmed, I'm here to support you. Emotions are sensations felt in your body, and stressful or traumatic situations can hijack our mind and body, causing physiological and psychological dysregulation.
My approach
My approach to therapy incorporates neuroscience-based techniques, including Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Informed Therapy, and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy. These methods are effective in addressing trauma, PTSD, grief, depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, and stress-related disorders. I focus on emotional and bodily integration using Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness-Based therapy, and biofeedback.
My focus
I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, complex trauma, abuse, LGBTQIA+ issues, veterans, autism, chronic illness, divorce, adolescents with a traumatic background, and anger concerns.
My communication style
In our sessions, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your emotions and experiences. I listen with empathy and without judgment, helping you develop greater self-awareness and coping strategies.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you achieve inner peace and freedom for yourself and your relationships. Therapy can restructure and alter regions in your brain to create a physiological internal change, leading to lasting improvements in your well-being.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will discuss your current challenges, goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will take the time to understand your unique situation and develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs. Together, we will work towards helping you feel more regulated, resilient, and empowered in your life.
