My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to becoming a therapist has always been driven by a deep commitment to helping others. After earning a BSN in nursing from BIOLA University, I joined the Navy Nurse Corps, where I had the privilege of serving in diverse settings, including Saudi Arabia. My experiences there deepened my desire to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. To expand my ability to help others, I pursued a Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D). I then dedicated 15 years to working at a state hospital, where I supported individuals with serious mental illness. This path ultimately led me to start my private practice as a psychologist, where I continue to fulfill my passion for helping people.
