Hi there, I'm Sarah!

My name is Sarah Horvath. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist licensed in both California and New Jersey. I hope to always provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for all. My primary focus areas of practice are anxiety, depression, trauma, workplace difficulties, crisis and relationships.

I use behavior modification (CBT) mostly within my practice.

I am comfortable treating any condition and diagnosis.

I strive to create a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental environment. Most clients appreciate my direct approach.

My journey to mental healthcare

My personal experiences as a child and adult led me to pursue therapy. Unfortunately, I saw and experienced the impact of having a therapist that wasn't great. I strive to never be that type of therapist.

My goals for you

Goal setting and monitoring is a big piece of my practice. It's beneficial for all to see tangible progress.

My first session with you

I would like clients to ask as many questions as they need to, express anxiety, concerns regarding therapy and maybe previous experiences, discuss barriers etc.
