Hi, My name is Hoda Nabili. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California providing therapy to clients statewide via telehealth. I primarily work with adults and specialize in treating anxiety, depression, substance use, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
My approach
My approach to therapy is integrative and dynamic. I create highly individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client. As a therapist, my aim is to help individuals stay connected with their values and utilize their strengths to achieve their goals. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing techniques to help my clients achieve their objectives. Additionally, I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and utilize ERP to treat OCD, phobias, illness anxiety, and panic disorder.

I strive to create a non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to share their feelings and reflect on their thoughts, explore what brings them joy, and navigate their path toward their desired life.
My journey to mental healthcare
I’ve always found humanity to be fascinating. Since my teenage years, I’ve had a keen interest in understanding human beings, their intricate minds, and their intriguing behaviors. That’s why I chose to study general psychology during my undergraduate years and continued to pursue my passion in my graduate studies. Being a therapist grants me the privilege of delving into the lives of others and offers me the opportunity to share the knowledge I’ve acquired through years of study and clinical experience.
