I am a Christian Licensed Marriage and family therapist working with individuals, couples, families, and Geriatrics. I completed my Master's Degree in MFT from Western Seminary in 1998, with internships in private practice, county mental health, and various agencies/ministries. I have over twenty years of experience working with people in the counseling profession.
My approach
I have an eclectic therapeutic approach, using what seems to work best for the individual client. I mostly use CBT, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused models in my practice.
My focus
I work with clients dealing with anxiety, phobias, depression, anger, grief and loss, marital and couple issues, addictions, and career issues. I am willing to see individuals and couples.
My communication style
I communicate with empathy, directness, and respect. My approach blends active listening with thoughtful questions to understand your unique perspective. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and supported in our therapeutic conversations.
