Cynthia I Sanchez. I am a bilingual, bicultural, clinical social worker. I have been working with children, teens and adults for the past 17 years struggling with trauma, Anxiety and Depression. I enjoy helping people create balance and finding new insight and balance in their lives.
My approach
I practice from an attachment-based, trauma-informed, holistic approach to help the client reach their full potential and most importantly goals of balance and peace.
My focus
I have experience working with children, teens, and adults who suffer from Trauma; sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, anxiety, and Depression.
My communication style
The therapeutic space is one where communication is free-flowing, free-associating and one is able to share openly and freely in a nonjudgmental, non-confiding space.
My journey to mental healthcare
17 years ago, I began my career as an early intervention therapist working with children in infant mental health. My love for mental health grew as I learned of the impact of our early childhood experiences, attachments, traumas, and bonding relationships. My approach to treatment as an attachment-based therapist grew out of these informative years of working with infants and seeing their relationships and the impact on their mental health. My passion for trauma-informed care, healing, and repairing relationships has only grown stronger as my life's work continues with trauma survivors and children.

My first session with you
From the beginning we will work from a space of genuine positive regard, learning together how therapy can lead us toward reaching personal goals of growth and steppingstones towards achieving balance and peace.
