Life is a journey. I am not here to judge. I am here as a guide. I counsel individuals, couples, and teenagers in a safe, honest, and "down-to-earth" manner. I work inside a comfortable, private office providing traditional psychotherapy. For those clients who would like a more experiential approach, I also take therapy outside with Walk and Talk Therapy. Individual clients accompany me on a two-hour light hike/walk that combines movement, nature, and psychotherapy. For those who are too busy to leave their home or office, I provide online counseling as well. I am eager to meet you and honored to help.
My approach
My theoretical orientation tends to be, humanistic, client-centered, and solution-focused. I also find value in the process of examining the past but only in the context of moving forward toward a more compelling future. I place a strong emphasis on emotional expression, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness.
My focus
I counsel individuals, couples, and teenagers in a safe, honest, and "down-to-earth" manner. I work with a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, anger management, grief and loss, and many others. There are very few conditions that I have not worked with in my career history.
My communication style
My communication style is humanistic, respectful, and straightforward. I am patient to listen to the client's story and yet I do not hesitate to offer suggestions that can promote growth and healing.

My goals for you
My approach to setting goals with clients revolves around listening to the client's wants needs and desires. I then balance that information with my own clinical guidance to create realistic progress goals for the client.
My first session with you
The first session is fundamentally about rapport building. I listen to the client intently and ask many questions to gain a clear understanding of the client and their desired growth.
