Hi, my name is Jasmine Tolmajian. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I help clients dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, and interpersonal issues. My approach to therapy is to be person-centered, solution-focused, strength-based and provide positive supportive therapy.
My approach
I find that CBT is a very useful approach and it's evidence-based. I also use mindfulness and meditation to help clients reduce stress. There are many theoretical approaches in therapy. I apply techniques from different approaches to help clients meet their unique goals.
My focus
I generally work with adults who are suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, depression, PTSD, and interpersonal and relationship issues.
My communication style
I want my client to feel very comfortable, relaxed, and heard when in session with me.

My first session with you
The first session consists of the assessment, where I check with the client's well-being, and we identify the goals the client wants to work on. The client will have an opportunity to talk about what's going on in their life.
