As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for clients to feel heard, especially during times of uncertainty. I collaborate with you to re-author an authentic narrative and navigate life's challenges.
My approach
My approach is holistic, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based models. Together, we work through negative thought and behavior patterns while building insight into your relationships with yourself and others.
My focus
I specialize in helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, and women's issues. Whether you're facing day-to-day stressors, past traumas, or persistent negative self-talk, I'm here to support you.
My communication style
You can expect me to be culturally sensitive, compassionate, and focused on your unique needs. I aim to create a warm, non-judgmental environment that allows you to feel comfortable opening up. We'll move at your pace as we collaborate on your goals.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was drawn to the mental health field through my desire to empower others to live authentic, fulfilling lives. After earning my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute, I gained diverse experience in intensive outpatient programs, community mental health, private practice, and school settings.
My goals for you
My goal is for you to gain practical coping skills, a deeper understanding of yourself, and a stronger sense of identity. I want to equip you with tools to manage life's ups and downs, improve your relationships, and move forward with confidence and self-compassion.
My first session with you
In our first session, I'll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. We'll discuss your background, current challenges, and strengths. Together, we'll begin to formulate a plan tailored to your unique situation and goals.
