As a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience, I have been privileged to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, ages, and life circumstances. Adversity and loss have been among my greatest teachers, shaping me into the therapist I am today.
My approach
My therapeutic approach draws from solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), emotionally-focused (EFT), and family systems modalities. I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with.
My focus
I specialize in helping individuals navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, anger management, chronic pain, domestic violence, eating disorders, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual addiction, stress, substance use, trauma and PTSD, OCD, ADHD, divorce, and transgender issues.

My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my master's degree from California State University Long Beach and became a licensed clinical social worker in 2009. From 2003-2005, I completed clinical hours at USC University Hospital under the supervision of Eric Pierce. Over the past two decades, I have provided individual therapy, crisis management, onsite emotional support, psychological first aid, consulting, and post-incident interventions to various organizations.

My first session with you
During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and collaborate to identify your unique goals and needs. I will gather relevant information about your background, experiences, and current challenges to develop a personalized treatment plan. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions and share any concerns you may have about the therapeutic process.
