Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Martin!

My name is Doctor Mike Denn. I am a licensed clinical psychologist. My approach to therapy is called Rational Living Therapy. My focus in therapy is to make you be better, not just feel better.

My approach

My goal is to help you understand that it is not other people who are causing your problems but rather how you think about and interpret the situation that is causing your problems. I will teach you a new way to think that will allow you to understand the events of your life in a way that will keep you calm and happy and able to set boundaries with others. And you will be able to solve your problems yourself in the future.

My focus

I have helped all kinds of clients and I focus on making you feel understood and accepted. A lot of the healing that happens is the result of you being really heard, maybe for the first time in your life. This is what I want to provide you.

My communication style

I am calm and accepting. You will feel comfortable and accepted when you talk with me. You can trust me to keep whatever you tell me confidential. You will feel safe.

My journey to mental healthcare

Like most men, I was unaware of my feelings or other people's feelings. After the failure of a long-term marriage, I entered into therapy and recovery. After a lot of change in myself, I realized that I wanted to help other people and save them some of the time and pain that I went through.

My goals for you

I would like to know what outcome you would like to result from therapy. And help you accomplish that with the resources you already have but may have forgotten about or not realized you have.

My first session with you

In the first session, I want to hear and understand the problem that brought you to therapy. And I want to learn what outcome you would like to achieve from therapy.
