Hello, I’m Dr. Selina Barnett, licensed psychologist. My approach to therapy is client-focused Christian therapy specializing in anxiety and depression.

My approach

My common approaches to therapy utilizes ERT, CBT/trauma-informed, SFT, motivational interviewing, and symptom management.

My focus

I have worked with clients between the ages of 16 - 99 who suffer from Anger Management, Anxiety, Career Counseling, Codependency, Coping Skills, Depression, Divorce, Grief, Self Esteem, Spirituality, Trauma and PTSD, Women's Issues, Aging, and Thought Disorders.

My communication style enables my sessions to be relaxed and supportive in nature.

My journey to mental healthcare

People often talked to me like they knew me for years. I began to wonder if there was a way I could make a career of helping others. Opportunities in psychology soon presented themselves and the rest is history.
